Passion. It’s what fuels our fire. It’s what pushes us along through life. It is our calling. It’s unique to our soul. It is what gets us out of bed in the morning. My passion? Wellness. A word that is often thrown around but rarely contemplated, so let me explain what wellness is to me. I believe that nourishing our bodies can nourish our minds. I believe that active living is not only the key to health, but to happiness as well. I believe that there is no straightforward approach to achieving wellness. It is not one-sided, or even two-sided but a multifaceted, complex and unique balance of body, mind, and spirit. It cannot be achieved overnight and it’s not the same for everyone. There are also SO MANY obstacles to finding this balance that it can be overwhelming. In this fast food loving and sedentary world we live in, being healthy is an uphill battle that must be fought every day. So how can we find our own balance? How can we tune out the bad and channel the good? Baby steps. Learning. Growing. Trusting. One day at a time, one health-conscious decision at a time. It’s doable and it’s worth it.
So why am I here? Why do I think I am worth your time? I’m here to help you along the way as best as I can. Using my experience and my knowledge of health, I’m going to give you my advice and you can take it or leave it. Wellness has been my growing passion for many years. The more I learn, the more I feel the need to share with anyone who is willing to open their hearts and minds to listen. I want to share my advice on healthy eating and exercise, my love affair with yoga, my favorite recipes, stress relief, mindfulness, love, you name it. I’m ready to give it all away.
