Sometimes we don’t have the time, energy or ingredients to make a great salad at home, so here are some healthy options to pick up and enjoy!
On-the-go salad options:
A large ‘Garden of Eaten’ salad with chicken from Salad Kraze
This salad was delicious and very filling because of its massive size! I love getting the dressing on the side because I like to control how much dressing I use (not a fan of soggy salad.) If you’re in the Cleveland area, you definitely have to check this cafe out!
Roasted Turkey and Brussels Sprouts salad from Trader Joe’s
I loved how fresh this salad was! I grabbed it because I wanted a healthy alternative to fast food. Trader Joe’s has a lot healthy grab-and-go salads, soups and wraps that will totally hit the spot. I think it’s really helpful to have a nutrition label on takeout foods because it helps me to choose the most delicious and calorie-conscious option!
Chicken Tortilla Bone Broth Bowl and the Southwest Chicken and Wild Rice Bowl from CoreLife Eatery
CoreLife Eatery might be one of my favorite healthy spots. Their ingredients are top-notch and the staff was uber friendly. I love the modern and cozy feel of the restaurant and it’s fast-casual atmosphere. The bone broth bowl was filled with veggies and the chicken was delicious. I can definitely see myself visiting this restaurant often this year because they have locations in both the Columbus and Cleveland areas.
I’ll be posting all of the delicious salads that I stumble upon in the future 🙂 If you have any suggestions, please share!
