Killer Homemade Salads

Let’s be honest, salads can get boring pretty quickly. A good salad requires creativity and a lot of good toppings on-hand. I’ve got a few recipes that I’d like to share with you, because everyone could use some salad-spiration!

Smoked Salmon Salad 

  • 1 1/2 c baby spinach
  • 1/2 c shredded broccoli and carrots
  • 1 large raw mushroom
  • smoked salmon (homemade by my dad)
  • Cleveland Kraut Beet Red Sauerkraut
  • black pepper
  • 1/2 T olive oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar drizzle

Sausage “Sub” Salad

  • 1 1/2 c baby spinach
  • 1/2 c shredded broccoli and carrots
  • Cleveland Kraut Beet Red Sauerkraut
  • roasted turmeric carrot
  • 1 spicy chicken sausage from Lucky’s Market
  • sautèed mushrooms
  • a few Homemade Pickles
  • black pepper
  • drizzle of olive oil

Egg Salad

  • 1 1/2 cups of spinach
  • 1/2 cup shredded broccoli
  • 1 small sweet potato (cooked in the microwave or oven)
  • Cleveland Kraut Beet Red Sauerkraut
  • turmeric
  • black pepper
  • drizzle of olive oil
  • sprinkle of salt
