Guacamole Recipe

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

My boyfriend’s guacamole recipe is hands-down the best I have ever eaten, and we would like to share it with you all!

Nick’s Famous Guacamole

  • 6 avocados
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro
  • 1 large or 2 medium jalapeno peppers * 1-2 small serrano peppers works well too, if jalapenos are not available
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 sweet onion (very important to get sweet because other onions can overpower the guacamole flavor)
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • love

Slice all avocados in half and remove the pit. Cut the avocados into chunks, the remove from the skin into a large bowl. Chop up tomato, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro then add it to the bowl. Mix well. Season the guacamole to taste. We use a good bit of cayenne pepper because we like our guacamole spicy! You can turn the spice down by adding less jalapenos and removing the seeds, and using just a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Squeeze most of the lime into the bowl and mix. Add salt to taste, mix again. Squeeze the rest of the lime and sprinkle a little salt on top.

Note: If you like your guacamole more chunky, cut everything into medium size chunks and refrain from mixing too much. If you like your guacamole more smooth, you can do the opposite by cutting everything into smaller chunks and mixing well.

*This recipe is meant to serve about 6-7 guacamole-loving people.

Enjoy! 🙂
