Yesterday, I ate at one of my favorite local restaurants in Columbus with a very good friend of mine. Acre is a farm-to-table restaurant in Clintonville, OH that has a menu catering to all kinds of foodies. There are plenty of gluten free, vegan, and carnivorous options that are bound to satisfy everyone. They make everything from scratch and with love. This restaurant is a gem because of its health-centered values, cool + casual seating, and absolutely intoxicating food. Oh, they also have a drive thru option, providing healthy food to-go (so cool, so rare.)
I have been eating there for about a year now, and I just can’t get enough of their taco salad with chicken. It’s one of the most perfect salads I have ever eaten. It’s both warm and crunchy, spicy and creamy. The dressing is lick-the-bowl-good. Bringing my friends and family to Acre is a no-brainer when they come to visit me.
This summer, I will be blogging about many of the healthy restaurants and rockin’ yoga studios that the BUS has to offer. I am very excited to share my favorite spots along with my adventures to new places. I’ll be on the hunt for good vibes + good foods.
If any Columbus locals have suggestions of places I should go or classes I should try, I would love to hear them! I love a good GF meal + sweat sesh 🙂
